While exploring all the fun things to do at Isle Vista Casino my companion and I worked up quite an appetite. We were invited to try the lunch special of the day and what a pleasant surprise. The first day was Breaded Pork Chops served with a vegetable and fried rice. For around $4 you are given 2 very large chops that are so tasty I was tempted ask to talk to the head cook. This is real home cooking, not the generic tasting fare that seems to rule many restaurants. The next day for lunch we try another made from scratch lunch special, this one is even better. A melt in your mouth Swiss Steak served with noodles, vegetable and chocolate cake. We also try a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The noodles are made from scratch; what a treat. The restaurant does offer senior portions with the lunch special, which is a good thing considering the regular portions are grand. This lunch gets my all time favorite casino lunch.

Later for dinner we were invited to their Holiday New Year's Eve special. We shared a Prime Rib and the Steak and Fried Jumbo Shrimp Dinners. Served with a choice of baked potato or french fries, a salad and vegetable; we both found the entire meal delicious. My companion is still raving about the fries! Yes we were impressed yet once again; it seems the Isle Vista restaurant doesn't skip a beat when putting a meal together.

Now throw in the quick friendly service, clean dinning area, full bar along with great low pricing, with the result being we give the Isle Vista restaurant a big A+.
