Don't let Blackjack intimidate you at North Star, the rules are posted clearly on each table. The dealers are well trained and easy to talk to; they don't mind answering questions to help you along. If you are a first time player, North Star is definitely a great place to start. This is the kind of atmosphere that you can feel comfortable with telling your fellow players you are brand new at the game. Playing Blackjack is much less complicated than it looks I promise. (Remember you are only playing against the dealer, not your fellow players.)

I really enjoyed my time at the table, the dealers were very nice and the players were alot of fun to play with. The man next to me was delightfully funny, he just had to tell me about his last great win and even the way he spent his winnings. Of course this was a 2-75 dollar table and the players may be more professional in the high stakes room, $25 minimum in a separate room. In this a private room where you can enjoy free drinks and cigars. At the present time there are two tables but I understand an expansion is in the planning stages.

The tables in the main casino are centered within all the casino action and drinks will be served to your table.

My favorate thing about Blackjack at North Star is that there are plenty of two dollar tables, even when they know they will be busy; this I find refreshing.
