LOTS AND LOTS OF LOOSE SLOTS

Whether you are looking for nickel, dollar or something in between you will certainly find your favorite slot machine here at Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo. North Star's slot machines are known to be and advertised as the loosest machines in the state. My companion finds this out first hand, while I'm having a hard time tearing myself away from the liberal Blackjack tables. North Star's slot machines seemed to be ringing and dropping coins all over the place. No wonder my companion kept wondering off!

I visited North Star Casino and Bingo on a very busy weekend and I was pleasantly surprised to notice that there were always more than enough machines to go around. 685 reel machines and 152 video machines to be exact. 16 of these machines are progressive. North Star offers a wide range of nickel, quarter and dollar machines and also provides some of the machines with bill validators for convenience.

Probably the most pleasant thing I encountered while I was touring through the slot machine areas would be all the laughter coming from the players. To the naked eye one would have thought that nearly everyone knew one another. Not so; just a very fun and friendly group of people enjoying the casino excitement together.

On the days I was there, the casino was giving away very generous Match Plays for entering the grand prize drawing, which made the entire casino a very exciting and busy place to be, yet the North Star employees seemed to keep up with the pace with professional ease. The floors were kept clean, the bathrooms were immaculate, the empty cups were promptly removed and even the ashtrays were emptied in a very timely manner. The strange thing was that I rarely saw anyone cleaning, it was almost as if they had invisible cleaning fairies flitting about.

The rest of the staff however is not invisible. They are friendly and eager to please and very assessable. I witnessed a handicapped gentleman being taken care of by an employee like he was her grandfather. I watched a security officer guide an electric wheel chair through a thick line of customers then towards the rest room. This is what many of my readers like yourself are looking for; go ahead and expect it from The Mohican North Star Casino.
